The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the application for the examination of State Civil Services (PCS) and Assistant Forest Conservator (ACF) and Regional Forest Officer (RFO) services. Candidates who want to apply can apply on the official website uppsc.up.nic.in till 21 May. The deadline for submission of fees is May 18, 2023.

The preliminary examination will be general for all three posts. In the main exam, candidates have to qualify for ACF or RFO mains. Till now, advertisements are done to fill 200 vacancies for the PCS examination but for ACF, and RFO, vacancies have not been disclosed.

Qualification
Age: Applicant must be at least 21 years old, maximum age is 40 years. Reserved category candidates will get an exemption as per government norms

Education: Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution

How to apply

Step 1: Go to the official website, uppsc.up.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Notification Latest Notification’ at the top left.
Step 3: Click on Apply next to PCS Notification.
Step 4: Register using the details and Verify
Step 5: Fill out the form, and upload the picture.
Step 6: Pay the fee and submit
The fee

An examination fee of Rs 100 and an additional fee of Rs 25 will be applicable for each form. People belonging to SC, ST, and Ex-servicemen will have to pay Rs 65 while PWD candidates will have to pay Rs 25. The dependents of freedom fighters and women candidates are exempted from paying any fee.

the wages

Those selected for PCS posts will get a grade pay of Rs 4600 (Level 8) with a salary of Rs 9300-34800, the pay bracket for the other posts is Rs 15,600 to Rs 39,100 with grade pay of Rs 5400 (level 10). The range for ACF is at level 10 and for RFO the range is at level 9 of the pay matrix.
